Thanks to a deeply generous gift from the Arthur N. Rupe Foundation, the newly created Center for Caregiver Support will provide multi-faceted assistance and education to Yolo County caregivers, many of whom are seniors, facing the challenge of caring for a seriously ill loved one at home. The Center for Caregiver Support will place special emphasis on aiding caregivers who are caring for loved ones with Mild Cognitive Impairments (MCI) such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
As YoloCares expands supportive care level offerings to provide a unique continuum of care options, The Center for Caregiver Support will provide a critical layer of assistance to the families of those managing a life-limiting illness. The Center for Caregiver Support will be a resource available to the whole community starting in 2022. Please call 530-758-5566 to learn more.
